Troubleshooting Steps:
- Identify the parts that make up the saddle bag light kit. Refer to Photo 1.
- Confirm that the wires have not been pulled from the connectors and/or there are no loose pins in the connectors.
- Swap the Left and Right Quick Disconnect harnesses at the MPR Y Harness (Point A in Photo 2 Below).
- Turn the bike on and test for Run, Brake, and Left/Right Turn signals. During turn signal operation, the saddles bag lights will illuminate on the opposite side that is activated.
- If the issue is now on the opposite saddle bag light, there is a problem in the MPR Y Harness or in the Bike’s wiring. If the issue remains on the same saddle bag light continue to the next step.
- Swap the Left and Right Quick Disconnect harnesses at the Light Harness (Point B in Photo 3 Below).
- Turn the bike on and test for Run, Brake, and Left/Right Turn signals. During turn signal operation, the saddles bag lights will illuminate on the opposite side that is activated.
- If the issue is now on the opposite saddle bag light, there is a problem in the Quick Disconnect Harness. If the issue remains on the same saddle bag light, there is a problem in the saddle bag light harness and/or saddle bag light.
